Women's Ministry

“For you are all children of the light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night nor to darkness. Because of this encourage the hearts of your fellow believers and support one another, just as you have already been doing.”

1Thess 5:5, 11

About Our Women’s Ministry

Our goal for Ignite Faith Church Women’s Ministry is to provide a time and place for women to gather, to form relationships for encouragement and edification, to seek God together and to stand alongside one another in prayer and support. If you ever have need of prayer, please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page. We are here for you.

Join us for our Fall 2022 Women’s Study ‘You are Free’

What to Expect

During our time together we will focus on getting to know one another, sharing insights from the videos we are watching, and supporting one another in prayer. We understand that many of our women are already involved in other bible studies or have committed to their own personal studies, so there is no home study required for participation in our meetings. However, we want to provide options for further study at home if that is what you are looking for. Depending on your resources and your schedule, it is entirely up to you how much additional study you want to pursue.

  • Each week we will hand out optional suggestions for further study.
  • If you are looking for an in-depth study on the topic, you might purchase Rebekah’s book, You Are Free to follow along with the videos.

*You are Free by Rebekah Lyons available on Amazon.

About the Study

Our study this fall is a 6-part study by Rebekah Lyons called You Are Free.

Christ doesn’t say you can be or may be or will be free. He says you are free. Dare you believe it? In You Are Free, Rebekah invites you to:

  • Overcome the exhaustion of meeting others’ expectations and rest in the joy of God’ freedom.
  • Release stress and anxiety to uncover the peace that comes from abiding in God’s presence.
  • Find permission to grieve past disappointments and find strength in your journey toward healing.
  • Throw off self-condemnation and masks of perfection and stop boldly into God’s purpose for you.
  • Discover the courage to begin again and use your newfound freedom to set others free.

Freedom is for everyone who wants it – the lost, the wounded and those weary from striving. It’s for those who gave up trying years ago. You are the church, the people of God. You were meant to be free.
